Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in the overall dental, medical and psychological well-being of children and adults. At Gill-Wedding Orthodontics we are dedicated to making certain that you can afford the very best! When it comes to you or your child’s teeth, financial considerations should not be an obstacle to a beautiful smile. We are sensitive to the fact that different patients have different needs in fulfilling their financial obligations, and we provide the following payment options:
- Interest-Free Office Payment Plans
- Prepayment Courtesies
- Multiple Family Member Courtesies
A down payment of approximately 25% of the fee is made at the start of treatment. This payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. The remaining balance is paid in monthly installments by auto debit to your checking account or credit card.
Another option would be approximately $800.00 down, and the balance to be paid in 23 equal payments.
A prepayment courtesy of 5% is given for payment of the fee in full at the start of treatment by cash, check or credit card. A 3% courtesy will be given for 2 equal annual payments. This option is only available for comprehensive treatment cases. Our practice accepts Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
We will verify with your dental insurance carrier that you have orthodontic coverage and the dollar amount of the coverage when we see you for your first visit to our office. We accept assignment of benefits for orthodontic treatment. We will file for your orthodontic benefits and request that payments be made directly to our office. By accepting benefits we are able to reduce both your financial obligation and paperwork! Payment options will then be presented to you for the portion of our fee not covered by insurance.
Please bring your insurance information with you to the initial exam so that we can expedite the payment of claims. Also, if you have a change in insurance benefits or enroll in a dental plan after treatment has started; please be sure to notify the business office so that we may assist you in obtaining any benefits that may be available.
Your employer may offer a medical spending account (Section 125 Plan), which allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for your medical/dental expenses. Please contact your employer for more details. Should this option be available, we will be glad to discuss payment options that will allow you to maximize your tax savings.
